I love to cook, eat, read cookbooks, and am always seeking to push my body into new levels of health and fitness. I thought I would share my journey with you as so many of you have with me!

I recently started a new journey in my lifestyle that has already opened me up in so many wonderful ways. I think building DelysiaStyle helped me more vividly visualize change, and I attracted some awesome things into my life- it was swift and powerful. I can’t even fully explain it. But I decided to keep branching out into other areas, because I feel they are certainly interconnected. This is my way of sharing a way of living that has made me feel light as a feather, physically and emotionally and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Just like design has led me to incredible people in person and online and helped me really connect with them, searching the net about fitness and nutrition has connected me to some of the most vibrant, happy, compassionate, genuine, positive people I have ever seen!

As far as the diet parameters, I try to be healthy. Over the years, I have dabbled in everything. Vegetarian, vegan, raw vegan, fitness supplements, South Beach Diet, what have you! I have read and still read everything related to diet, exercise and nutrition I can get my hands on. Recently while experimenting with a raw food lifestlye, I found a lot of great people on youtube who totally inspire me. I’m still eating a huge amount of raw foods, but there are a few foods I am eating that aren’t considered raw/vegan. Yes, it’s true. But I need to do what makes sense for me, and the point of this story is that you need to arrive at the perfect diet for YOU. My ideas are just that- I don’t deliver them with any dogma, and I don’t restrict myself to a certain list of foods. I like to have yogurt, fish and seafood, and turkey every so often. So I am not promoting this as a “raw” or “vegan” blog, but I want you to know that I completely understand and support those who follow these lifestyles.   I care about animals, the environment and world hunger, and I love that this diet helps alleviate so many issues in one fell swoop, but I am doing this more for my health and fitness than anything.
